Core 22 Design Build LLC is a well-established, respected name in commercial construction specializing in Design-Build with a long-standing track record of delivering complex, high-quality projects across Virginia and North Carolina in the healthcare, education, industrial, retail, multi-family, automotive, office and hospitality market sectors.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a highly motivated Business Developer with deep industry experience and a proven ability to identify, secure, and nurture high-value opportunities.

You’ll work closely with our CEO and Director of Business Development to expand our client base, strengthen industry relationships, and help take our company to the next level.

 

Your Impact:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and Director of Business Development to execute strategic growth initiatives
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with developers, architects, engineers, and owners
  • Develop and maintain strong industry relationships and a network of repeat clients and referral sources
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
  • Coordinate with estimating, preconstruction, and project teams to align business development efforts with company capabilities and goals

 

What You Bring:

  • 7+ years of business development in the Architectural, Engineering and Construction industry
  • A strong network of industry contacts in Virgina and North Carolina, particularly in Hampton Roads market
  • Demonstrated success in securing multi-million-dollar projects and long-term client partnerships
  • Deep understanding of the commercial construction process and client decision-making cycles
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to collaborate, lead, and drive initiatives forward
