About the Role:
As our Plumbing Dispatcher, you will be the communication hub between our technicians, office team, and valued customers. You’ll schedule jobs, confirm appointments, and dispatch plumbers efficiently to ensure service calls are completed promptly and accurately. This role requires strong multitasking ability, excellent organizational skills, and the capacity to adapt quickly in a dynamic service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch plumbing technicians to customer sites based on priority, location, and skill set.
• Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, updates, and estimated arrival times.
• Manage the daily service schedule and routing board to maximize technician efficiency.
• Enter and update service calls accurately within FieldEdge or similar CRM software.
• Process and review job orders, timecards, and work summaries for accuracy and completeness.
• Assist with routing emergency calls and after-hours scheduling rotations.
• Track job progress, provide customers with timely updates, and support both front-office and field staff.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure materials and parts are available for scheduled work.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of dispatching or customer service experience in plumbing, HVAC, or a related trades field.
• Proficiency with FieldEdge , ServiceTitan, or equivalent job management software.
• Excellent communication, time management, and data-entry accuracy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining detail-oriented and calm under pressure.
