BIG PICTURE:
We are seeking an exceptionally skilled Executive Protection Personal Security Specialist to join the private estate team of a high-profile family. This role is critical in ensuring the safety, security, and privacy of the principals and their household, both on and off the property.

The ideal candidate will provide discreet, full-service personal protection while also assisting with various personal and estate-related tasks. They must be comfortable working in a private home environment, coordinating closely with estate staff, and supporting the daily routines of the family with professionalism and discretion.

This role requires a proactive individual who is not only experienced in high-level personal security but also tech-savvy, computer literate, and capable of using modern tools to assist with logistics, scheduling, and communication. Flexibility, confidentiality, and a service-first mindset are essential.

• Conducting thorough risk assessments and developing personalized security plans
• Providing close protection and security escort services to clients during travel, events, and day-to-day activities
• Observing and operating security cameras, security systems, and access control
• Monitoring and assessing potential security threats, taking proactive measures to prevent and mitigate risks
• Maintaining constant vigilance, security presence, and situational awareness, responding swiftly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies
• Coordinating with local law enforcement and other relevant stakeholders as needed
• Conducting security briefings and training sessions for clients and their staff
• Conducting safe and secure vehicle transport for clients
• Assisting with personal errands and day-to-day tasks as needed
• Using technology and digital tools for scheduling, communication, and logistical planning
• Maintaining the highest level of discretion and confidentiality at all times

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in executive protection or personal security, preferably in a corporate or high-net-worth environment
• Strong physical fitness and defensive tactics skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Flexibility to travel extensively and work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable handling personal tasks and providing support beyond traditional security duties
• Tech-savvy and proficient with computers, apps, and digital communication tools
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Experience working in a family environment with children
• EMT certification or experience/training with TCCC
• CCW and/or LEOSA required; Law Enforcement or PI background required

WHO OVERSEES YOU:

The Security Specialist will report directly to the Director of Security.

WHO YOU OVERSEE:

Currently, the Security Specialist has no personnel reporting directly to him or her.

WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:

This position will report to the estate in Calabasas, CA and requires flexibility with scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and extended travel.

The typical work schedule is as follows (full details will be provided during the interview process): Day shift, including weekends and/or Night shift, including weekends
