Field Service Power Generation Technician Base Pay Range: $30.00/hr - $40.00/hr At PEARCE , we deliver comprehensive engineering, maintenance, repair, and repowering solutions for critical telecommunication and renewable energy infrastructure. With over 2,500 team members nationwide, we support wireless and wireline telecom, commercial and utility‑scale solar and wind projects, EV charging stations, and large‑scale power generation and energy storage assets. Core Responsibilities Maintain, diagnose, and repair generators on cell‑phone towers. Perform performance checks and regular maintenance on generators. Install water and fuel supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring, and controls, and test for proper operation. Respond promptly to power/generator alarms and be on call 24/7 if required. Work safely and follow all hazard mitigation procedures. Core Experience 2+ years of generator maintenance experience (preferred) and at least 1 year of intense work‑related generator and electrical maintenance experience. Knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, repair, electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, and moderate computer skills. Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA OSHA regulations. Physical/Work Environment Lifting over 50 lbs, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and standing for long periods. Must be willing to drive long distances and work day, evening, night hours, overtime, emergency callouts, weekends, and holidays. Must assume 24‑hour on‑call duty when assigned and be away from home for extended periods. Must pass a DOT physical.
