We are seeking an experienced immigration attorney who can provide quality legal services to our large, diverse client base. Our ideal candidate will work passionately and effectively alongside our team. We are a fast-paced, busy office and are seeking an attorney who is organized, meticulous, and has knowledge of immigration law. Bilingual expertise is a plus!

Areas of experience: Represent clients in removal proceedings, including helping clients to prepare I-589 applications and collect supporting documents; Advise clients regarding bond hearings and documents for upcoming hearings and interviews; Assist clients to prepare and file I-601 Waivers, I-601A Waivers; Applications for Adjustment of Status; Naturtalization; I-130 Petitions, J-1, E-2, L-1A petitions, O-1 Petitions, EB-1 and NIV Waivers; H-1B Petitions and RFEs, Cancellation of Removal, U and T visas, VAWA, SIJ, PERM and more!

Compensation:

$80,000 - $110,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects
  • Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
  • Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis
  • Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedings
  • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
Qualifications:
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office is required
  • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
  • Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plus
  • Must be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervision
  • Knowledge of immigration law and experience working in an immigration law firm are required.
  • Second language is a plus!
