High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Water/Wastewater Associate Degree and/or Classes Preferred. Must be a Grade IV Water and/or Grade IV Wastewater Operator. Must have knowledge of ADEM Regulations. Must have a good mathematical and chemistry background. Must meet the physical demands of the position such as heavy lifting, climbing, and entering confined spaces as defined in the job description. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions. Must have good laboratory skills and be safety conscious. Must be willing to work around hazardous chemicals and gases. Must be willing to work shift work. Must have good mechanical skills with pumps, motors, and lab instruments. Must abide by the Sheffield Utilities Residency Policy.
