Location: Remote (Texas preferred) Contract Duration: 612 months, with option to renew Hours: Part-time, ~10 hours/week (flexible; may scale up during busy periods) Reports to: Chief of Staff or CEORole OverviewWe are seeking a Revenue Operations & Data Specialist to be the backbone of CareerCrafts sales and renewal operations. This role ensures our CRM (Copper) functions as the single source of truth, streamlines workflows through automation, and delivers data-driven insights that guide account strategies.The ideal candidate thrives on clean, accurate data, enjoys building scalable systems, and takes pride in surfacing insights that directly influence retention and revenue growth. Youll partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to identify risks, highlight opportunities, and support long-term planning.Key Responsibilities1. CRM & Workflow AutomationMaintain Copper CRM by updating deals, contacts, and renewal dates.Build and manage automated workflows for follow-ups, renewals, and task creation.Ensure data integrity across systems; troubleshoot sync and integration issues.2. Data & ReportingBuild and maintain dashboards that track pipeline coverage, renewal status, and funnel performance (e.g., webinars).Deliver weekly reports on close rates, renewal rates, and churn to leadership.Provide ad hoc reports and analyses to answer critical business questions.3. Risk & Opportunity InsightsPartner with Sales and Customer Success to flag risks (e.g., churn risk) and upsell opportunities.Provide actionable insights that inform account strategies and renewal prioritization.Support scale planning by recommending new reporting, automation, and tools.4. Process ImprovementIdentify bottlenecks in follow-ups, renewals, or onboarding handoffs.Propose and implement workflow improvements and additional automations.Document and maintain SOPs for all RevOps processes.Required QualificationsStrong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset; pride in maintaining clean data and systems.Experience with CRM platforms such as Copper, Gainsight, or similar.Light technical skills for workflow automation and integrations (e.g., Zapier); basic engineering knowledge a plus.Analytical skills and comfort working with dashboards and Google Sheets.Proactive communicator who surfaces risks early and makes data-driven recommendations.Desired / Nice-to-HaveExperience in EdTech or K-12 environments.Familiarity with Texas school district operations.Exposure to additional RevOps or sales enablement tools.How Success Will Be MeasuredCRM Hygiene: 100% compliance, spot-checked weekly.Reporting Cadence: Dashboards and weekly reports delivered on time with no missing data.Automation Coverage: >90% of repeatable tasks automated or streamlined.Business Impact: Positive feedback from Sales and Customer Success on visibility, data accuracy, and actionable insights.Contract DetailsStart Date: ASAPDuration: 612 months, with option to renewCompensation: Hourly or fixed monthly rate, commensurate with experience
